A name no one cares to remember, a mannequin as a best friend, and a dream of fame. Wild Rose tells the story of Talula Rose, a naïve, 5'2" cosmetics counter employee who has 24 hours to be discovered as a world famous supermodel. The world premiere of this multi-character, one-woman show is proudly presented by the Vancouver Fringe Festival and Firecracker Productions from September 5–12, 2008.

Some people get into the industry to land the cover of US Weekly. Some people spend thousands of dollars on a pair of double D's to land a role on Battlestar Galactica. And some people write a one-woman fringe show because they don't fit the mold. Talula Rose is one of the thousands of hopeful actor/singer/models who suffer from "American Idol Syndrome"; she believes fame will come to her without talent or hard work. All she needs is for the right person to discover her.

Christina Sicoli is a character driven comedienne who has a talent for physical comedy and has a "stage presence that is very reminiscent of Harpo Marx" (Andrew Clark, Toronto Star).

Wild Rose contains mature subject matter and is not suitable for children.

Don't miss this sure-fire hit at the Vancouver Fringe Festival.
