Composer & Sound Designer

Alexander has been composing music since he was a toddler, sitting in the back of his family’s yellow Volkswagon, singing at the top of his lungs. Recently, though, his compositions are more theatre-based.  Throughout his time at the University of Victoria, he composed scores for many shows.  Follwing university, he composed music and designed sound at the Chemainus Theatre Festival while there as an acting apprentice.  He has worked at the festival many times since as a sound deisgner, composer, and musical director.  Other companies he has designed sound and writen scores for include Kaleidoscope Theatre, Pi Theatre, The Only Animal, Blackbird Theatre, Solo Collective, and Gateway Theatre.
